Executive Directors

Sarah Finch
Chief Executive Officer

What I love about my job: Working with our family of schools, connecting with the children and young people and watching them grow, thrive and achieve.

David O’Toole
Deputy CEO

What I love about my job: Seeing the impact of being persistent and consistent in the drive for excellence for everyone in your care. When you see a young person become an adult and moving on in life and knowing you had a small part in guiding them through childhood.

Gareth Bridges
Chief Financial and Operating Officer

What I love about my job: I love the feeling that we are making a difference in our communities every day. Using my financial and business management skills to help enable our rural schools to thrive at the heart of their communities and provide a wealth of experiences and opportunities to our children.

Cavelle Priestley-Bird

What I love about my job: Nurturing staff talent across the trust, developing leaders of change and harnessing the energy and expertise of our school teams to drive school improvement.

Carla Whelan
Executive Director of Education

What I love about my job: Challenging the trust and myself to secure the best learning provision and providing opportunities that mean our Marches communities go forward and achieve their ambitions.

Every day is different, always busy, but interesting and varied and the colleagues I work with are fun, friendly and supportive.

Amy Chevin-Dooley

What I love about my job: I love… the diversity of my role: from supporting the strategic development of the Trust’s vision and Inclusion Framework to working directly with children to capture their voice and improve their daily outcomes – no day is the same.

Jasmin Taylor
Assistant Director of Learning

What I love about my job: I believe that everyone matters and I am in a profession that constantly strives for improvement. My aim when providing advice on school improvement is to ensure that my visits develop a productive, efficient and motivated team that feel supported, and so they can see noticeable instant improvements.

Andy Lowe
Director of Information Management and Attendance

What I love about my job:

I work across many Trust Teams and I get to collaborate with so many different people.  Collaboration is one of our keys to success and I love the moment when I am able to design processes or show staff how information sharing benefits everyone; and then watch their reactions when they realise how much time they can save!
