Supporting the local community

The 4 All Foundation began operating as a community organisation in 2022 and registered with the Charity Commission, as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), in June 2023 (Registered Charity number 1203479). The 4 All Foundation was founded by the Marches Academy Trust, with the aim of supporting those living in the communities where the Trust schools are located. The 4 All Foundation carries out its charitable purposes supporting children, young people, adults, and older residents in Shropshire and the surrounding counties, to reach their full potential.

The Foundation responds to the needs of those in the community by working in partnership with local town councils (Shropshire Council and Telford and Wrekin Council), other charities, and education providers, and by communicating directly with the local community.

The work of the charity is delivered through local community hubs, in partnership with local councils and through outreach work within the community, in high need areas.

What's the goal?

Operated through an independent Trustee Board, the 4 All Foundation seeks to support communities associated with the schools within the Trust. The Foundation strives to achieve its charitable objectives by offering diverse programs, including holiday clubs, educational workshops, environmental groups, and refugee support clinics. By focusing on children, young people, adults, and older residents in Shropshire and nearby counties, the Foundation aims to facilitate their journey toward reaching their personal best.

  • Advance the education of local people to develop their skills, achieve qualifications and create employability opportunities
  • Promote and protect people’s health and wellbeing
  • Relieve those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial or other disadvantage
  • Relieve poverty

Geographical Focus

The Foundation will continue their current geographical focus to include:

  • Market Drayton, Telford and Wrekin, Whitchurch, Shawbury, Shrewsbury, Tilstock and Telford and Wrekin (specifically Oakengates, Woodside and Sutton Hill). Beyond this timeframe our focus for the immediate future will be on geographical areas where the MMAT operates.
  • We will grow and develop volunteering opportunities, particularly for young people, by facilitating intergenerational volunteering. We will do this through our current programmes and through any new opportunities, where possible.
