Meet George

George has worked in schools across the West Midlands delivering physical education and school sport programmes since 2012. Mainly covering primary physical education, George is passionate on giving all children the same opportunities through sport. Before joining the Trust, George previously taught at Longlands Primary School in Market Drayton delivering their PE lessons and extra curriculum opportunities.

About George

Since joining the Trust in 2020, George started the Shropshire PE Conference supporting over 100 staff members from across Shropshire each year. Keynote speakers have included high profiled names such as Beth Tweddle MBE and Jason Robinson OBE. Alongside his Trust role, George is the Strategic Lead for the Girls Football Partnership (Shrewsbury), a CatalYST for the Youth Sport Trust and an Active Champion for Energize STW.
