Our curriculum pathways are rooted in our commitment to meet the needs of all learners and to equip them to confidently enter the next phase of their lives. We aim to take the time to understand all our children so that we can remove barriers and broaden horizons through an exciting, stimulating and rich curriculum offer that meets the needs of all learners. We currently offer three distinct pathways through from Early Years to post 16 with all pupils accessing our Wellbeing Curriculum regardless of their academic pathway.
The Wave Curriculum
The Wave Pathway curriculum has been designed for learners who, for a variety of reasons struggle to access the full suite of qualifications at KS4.
The Open Curriculum
The Open Curriculum has been designed for learners who are working towards level 2 or 1 qualifications at KS4. This group of pupils will predominately be working at ARE in most areas of the curriculum.
The Extended Curriculum
The Extended Curriculum has been designed for learners who are working towards level 2 qualifications at KS4 and are developing and excelling. This group of pupils are working at or above ARE in all areas of the curriculum and are engaged in wider activities that develop an enriched curriculum experience.
